The Ea H’leo macadamia nuts product has officially been exported to South Korea.
On the morning of December 8, at the People's Committee of Ea H'leo District, a Signing Ceremony for the Official Export Contract of Ea H'leo Macadamia Nuts to the South Korean market took place. The contract was signed between the Ea H'leo Macadamia Agricultural Production, Trade, and Service Cooperative (located in Ea Hiao Commune, Ea H'leo District), Vietnox Agri Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Tan Lap Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City), and IDEA BUCKET Corporation from South Korea.
At the ceremony, the Ea H'leo Macadamia Cooperative, Vietnox Agri Co., Ltd., and IDEA BUCKET Corporation officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and an official export contract for 35 tons of Ea H'leo macadamia nuts as the initial shipment to South Korea.
This marks the first export contract of Ea H'leo macadamia nuts to the South Korean market, creating significant opportunities for the distribution of local agricultural products in international markets.
Local Leaders Witness Export Contract Signing
To date, Ea H'leo District has successfully converted 1,200 hectares of low-yield agricultural land into macadamia cultivation. The estimated yield is 6 tons per hectare, with an annual production volume exceeding 1,000 tons. Ea H'leo macadamia nuts are distinguished by their superior quality, having undergone thorough analysis and received excellent evaluations.
The products of the Ea H'leo Macadamia Cooperative have earned several prestigious certifications, including compliance with food safety standards, a 4-star OCOP product certification, and recognition as an outstanding cooperative product for 2024. Additionally, the product was honored with the first Mai An Tiem Award presented by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.
